MEDIUM VELOCITY / HIGH VELOCITY WATER SPRAY SYSTEM

An MVWS / HVWS system (short for a Medium / High Velocity Water Spray System) is a water-based fire protection system that sprays water at a medium / High velocity to control or extinguish fires in industrial environments. MVWS / HVWS systems are used to provide cooling and/or control the burning in many large scale industrial applications such as Flamable Liquid Tanks, Cable Galaries, Transformer Yard, Substation, Conveyor Belts etc. The operation of an MVWS system is triggered by fire detection, activating deluge valves to spray water and control the spread of fire.
